WorldMark Mariner Village

They did a unit refreash 2 years ago. Unit is up to date style wise and in good condition. There were some very minor things from normal wear and tear but over all it was in good shape. It was standard worldmark, which is nice enough, comfortable, but not luxurious. The place seemed very family oriented. The pool is closed in the off season but the hot tub is open. Weather was not really conducive for that being cold with rain and wind. It is right on the ocean. 3rd and 4th floors have views. 2nd floor kind of has a view and 1st floor can't see the ocean at all. The gym is very small with 3 pieces of equipment. There were problems with the internet, it was basically out the first day. And one of the tvs had trouble locating channels and it could take several tries. There is noise transfer. I had an end unit but still heard sounds from other units. I imagine that would be worse during busy season. Also transfer from the walkway. The bedrooms are on the walkway side which means you might be waken up by early morning comings and goings. Overall, I liked the place. But I would not choose it if I were looking a true resort experience. Its fine though for a get away to the beach.

The beds are incredibly comfortable. I love that there is a Murphy bed in the living room next to a fireplace. I’ve stayed on multiple floors and obviously the higher the better view but being on the first floor is nice for easy access to the outdoor hot tub and trail leading to the beach. It’s a super quick two minute walk through the dunes and you’re right on the beach. It seems like they upgraded recently and the decor and furniture is really nice. My family has been coming here for 20+ years. Nice quiet location. They also have sinks to clean clams if you happen to be there on a clam dig.

My husband and I have recently stayed at Mariner Village. We had a great view of the ocean. Our stay was quiet. The condos are very well maintained, clean and upgraded. Bill and Jodi are great. In fact all of the staff are helpful, welcoming and responsive to your needs. We would give this facility 5 out if 5. We look forward to our next stay.

World Mark is a great place to stay while vacationing at Ocean Shores.

Went clam digging with friends, while I personally wasn't successful at the dig...the lodging that we came home to was perfect! And those views are priceless!

I believe most rooms have a view of the ocean except the ground floor units have views of the dunes. Easy check on. Parking was a bit limited as there was a crew with equipment painting the buildings but noise was basically kept to a minimum.

First time back in six years. The checkin space so the same. They have added a few more items for sale. Checking in was easy. Our room faces the ocean, beautiful sunset! The pool was clean and lightly heated for our morning swim. The resort has completed an inside update in the last year. The updates are nice and marsh the ambiance of the ocean resort inside and out. For a summer visit it was nice and quiet during late evening hours. The only drawback was no cell service in the room - you had to be out front near check in for it to work.

Room was very nice but the couch was very unconfortable and lacked couch pillows. Ocean Shores needs to bring in more tourist attractions.
